Welcome! My name is Courtnee and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I speak English and Sign Language. Having years of experience in community mental health, I have experience in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, in-home services, and criminal justice. I have spent the majority of my career working with Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem, Schizophrenia, Bipolar related disorder, as well as Relationship Counseling and Adjustment needs. I draw from a Person-Centered approach to treatment, which includes genuineness and empathy to assist with creating a safe space in treatment. I utilize evidence-based practices including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, and also Narrative Therapy.
Whether this is your first time in therapy or tenth time in therapy, I will meet you where you are mentally and emotionally and I will be with you every step of the journey. Together, we can set concrete goals for treatment and create an individualized plan to help you reach those goals. Collaboration is one of the most important aspects of therapy, along with trust.
