Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. My name is BrieAnna Reed, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is deeply committed to helping people build healthier, more fulfilling lives. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills, where I developed a strong foundation in both the science and art of mental health care.
I believe that therapy is not only a space for healing but also for rediscovery. My goal is to help individuals become more self-aware, gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors, and recognize how these patterns may be influencing their everyday lives. I truly enjoy helping my clients find clarity, confidence, and a sense of peace as they work toward positive change.
Throughout my years of experience, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families who face a wide range of challenges. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, communication difficulties, infidelity, divorce, or parent-child conflicts, I approach each session with compassion, curiosity, and respect. I understand that every person’s story is unique, which is why I take time to listen and tailor treatment to each individual’s goals and needs.
My therapeutic approach draws from several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strategic Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy. These techniques allow me to address both immediate concerns and deeper, long-term patterns that may be limiting personal growth. For example, CBT can help you challenge negative thought patterns, while Solution-Focused Therapy can guide you toward achievable goals that foster a sense of progress and empowerment.
I also have a particular passion for supporting women’s issues, helping women navigate life transitions, self-esteem struggles, and relational challenges. Whether you’re adjusting to new roles, healing from past experiences, or learning to set boundaries, I offer a supportive environment where your voice is valued and your journey is honored.
In every session, my intention is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe therapy is a collaborative process that allows you to rediscover your strengths and move toward a life that feels balanced and authentic.
