Hello, I’m Lysette Etti-Eyong, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with strength and resilience. My work has allowed me to connect with children, adolescents, parents, and guardians in an outpatient mental health setting, where I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of therapy to transform lives.
I believe therapy is a deeply personal and healing journey. My role is to guide you toward greater self-understanding and emotional balance, while creating a safe, compassionate environment where you can explore your experiences freely. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, anger management, or parenting stress, my goal is to help you feel more grounded and in control of your emotions and decisions.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in respect. I combine evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change. I am also EMDR-trained, which allows me to support clients in healing from trauma and distressing life experiences that may be affecting their present well-being.
Over the years, I have found great fulfillment in providing family therapy, where we work together to rebuild communication, strengthen trust, and create a healthier home dynamic. Every family has its own rhythm, and through guided conversations, I help loved ones understand each other’s perspectives while fostering emotional safety and growth.
I am especially passionate about empowering young people and supporting them through life transitions, school-related stress, or identity development. I also enjoy helping parents build stronger connections with their children through positive parenting strategies that nurture confidence and mutual respect.
My clients often describe our sessions as supportive, understanding, and restorative. I believe in meeting people where they are and helping them move toward the life they want to live. To make therapy more accessible, I offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate busy lives.
